Claiming PDUs for PMI with Your OKRI Certification

If you’ve completed the OKR Practitioner Certification and want to claim your Professional Development Units (PDUs) with the Project Management Institute (PMI), follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Go to https://www.pmi.org/ and log in with your username and password. Alternatively, you can go straight to reporting PDUs here: https://link.okrinstitute.org/pmi

2. Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner and select “Dashboard” from the dropdown menu.

3. Scroll down to your PMP Certification (or relevant certification) and click on the “Report PDUs” button.

4. Under the Education category, select “Course or Training.”

5. In the “Provider” field, type: “OKR Institute” (please enter this exactly as written, as this is considered Third-party provider).

6. In the “Course Name” field, enter: “OKR PRACTITIONER CERTIFICATION (C-OKRP®).

7. In the “Description” field, copy and paste the following:


OKRI Institute’s OKR Practitioner Certification includes five live sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours, conducted weekly. Participants also receive access to comprehensive e-learning modules and an online certification exam.

This course covers the complete knowledge and methodology of the Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) framework, based on real-world business practices and proven strategies.


Throughout this course, you will learn how to implement OKRs successfully within your organization. Our international OKR coaches will guide you through best practices, enabling you to master the role of an OKR Champion, aligning teams, increasing engagement, and driving strategic execution in an effective and sustainable way.

8. Fill in the “Date Started” with the date you began the course and the “Date Completed” with the date you completed the course and passed the certification exam.

9. In the “PDUs Claimed” section, under “Power Skills,” enter: “7.5” for OKR Practitioner

- 15 for OKR Leadership

- 21 for OKR Professional

10. Tick the checkbox for “I agree this claim is accurate” and click the “Submit” button.

11. Once submitted, PMI will review and process your claim. You’ll be notified when your PDUs are approved.
