What is the difference between OKRs and KPIs?

A KPI measures the ongoing health of something you already do. An OKR drives a change you want to make in a defined period. Customer churn rate is a KPI. Reducing churn from 8% to 5% this quarter is a key result. Organisations run both: KPIs monitor, OKRs improve.
